Artwork Design & Set up

Product design is the first step in private label contract packing projects. Product design for bulk line dairy products are straight forward when only one packing material (empty bag) is used.

However, product design for retail packs involves much more detailed work. For “bag in box” projects, we design, custom design inner (box) and custom design cartons.  For “soft pack” projects, we mostly design custom film. Once design has been finalised, the artwork is sent to our packing materials manufacturer for the final production set-up. This service is charged to the customer at cost.

 

Contract Packing

Contract packing is the major business activity. Dairy-Pac offers flexible approaches in meeting our customers’ requirements in blending and packing milk powders in custom design packaging. We offer this competitive repacking service to milk powder traders/exporters who use our manufacturing facilities to repack milk powders into their custom designed own brand (private label) in various sizes. Our repacking services include retail packs and industrial packs. 

We are currently contracted to pack Diploma Brands in “Bag in Box” format by Fonterra Brands.

 

Cheese Contract Packing

In 2010, Dairy-Pac International added cheese packing lines to manufacturing facilities. Cutting, sealing, waxing and packing are the major cheese projects currently undertaken at the cheese packing facility. We also repack cheese (Frozen or Soft) for the export market. Our services on cheese exports start from packing cheese blocks right thought to bins/cartons, container loading and delivery.

 

Container Loading and Unloading

At Dairy-Pac International we also offer container loading services for import and export milk powders. Upon receipt of release information, containers can be organised using our reliable and trusted carrier.

 

Storage and Distribution

We also offer a competitively priced warehousing facility to all our clients which our major customers use to store their own milk powders. This activity is mainly carried out to create income in contract packing because most of the stored products are processed at the factory at a later stage ready for export.
